Little Planet Heroes

This year we have chosen the theme "Little Planet Heroes" for our SSDB project. Our goal is to teach children to love and care for the environment around us.

We launched the project on 22 April 2023, the teacher explained the aim of this project using pictures slides and how the children can be involved in this project. Teachers put up a skit to show how everyone can love and care for our environment. We ended with a song "Save my World".

The children were excited to do their part in making this project a success!.

Little Planet Heroes in Action

We ended our SSDB project with the children showing love and care for the environment. They were all ready to march out as Little Planet Heroes to save the earth.

The children from the playgroup and pre-nursery classes did their part by sorting items into the respective bins. They did posters to remind others to save water and pledge to save the planet.

The children from the Nursery, K1 and K2 classes went to Pasir Ris Park to pick up litter and keep the environment clean for everyone.

This project taught the children the importance of saving the planet and how they can do their part -

"Not everyone can do everything but everyone can do something".
