No, as the child’s name is maintained in the class register and a place is reserved for the child until he returns.

Withdrawal Procedures
Qns:
How do I withdraw my child?
Ans:
One month WRITTEN NOTICE from the 1st day of the month or on the last day of the preceding month should the 1st day of the notice month fall on weekends or on a holiday(s). And only then will the deposit be used to offset the last month school fees.

Can I withdraw my child via telephone or oral notice?
Ans:
NO ORAL NOTICE WILL BE ACCEPTED and that will affect the deposit to be forfeited without prejudice.
Withdrawal from Enrichment Courses

Can I get a refund if I withdraw my child from enrichment courses?
Ans:
If your notice of withdrawal is 1 week before the start of the course, you will get back100% of the course fee; 4 days before the start of the course, 75%; 1 to 3 days before the start of the course, 50%. There will be no refund once the course has started.
Mode of payment

Can I choose the mode of payment for my child's school fees?
Ans:
Riverlife has on the request of the Ministry of Education implimented fee collection by GIRO. Parents are to maintain sufficient fund in their bank accounts for the appropriate school fee deduction on the 3rd day of each month.

Yes, Riverlife Kindergarten collects monthly fees instead of term fees where school holidays apply.

Refrain parents from bringing their child to school.

What will the Kindergarten do when a child falls sick?
Ans:
Teachers/Principal will attend to the child’s needs;
Isolate the child to allow rest;
Then parents will be notified to take the child home or to consult a doctor.

What measures does the Kindergarten take if there is an out break of infectious diseases?
Ans:
Circular will be sent out to parents.
Isolate child contacted with infectious diseases and inform parents immediately.
Kindergarten will observe good hygiene standards.
Eliminate communal activities and assembly.
Conduct health check daily till the outbreak season is over.
Child should be certified fit to return to school by a medical practitioner.
Undertake daily cleaning and disinfection of toys, materials and equipment used by the children.
Birthday Celebration

Can my child celebrate his/her birthday in school?
Ans:
Yes. The office and class teacher are to be informed one week in advance of your intended date.
Information of whether it will be a class/level/whole session celebration has to be communicated clearly.
